As of today, I’ve set aside Lainee to work on a new novel, aimed at younger kids. I plan to finish this during NaNoWriMo! Starts on Sunday – if I can make the 50,000 word goal, I could probably finish or be quite close to finishing this new story.
No word on Rosemadonna, still submitting. Considering entering the Young Adult writing contest at Gotham – but it is only 250 words! They’ll be looking for something along the lines of Twilight, is my guess – not vampires, but something with huge appeal to teen girls. Title will be critical!
I went to my first writing conference, a small local one with some excellent lectures & information. It was interesting to dip my toes into this new world. I have so many notes to go through – I started another Gotham course and have not had time to properly absorb the conference information.
Still thinking about that textbook. Got a big editing job for the University, plus some new grad-sch0ol-essay clients. Busy!
