Another year spending time in a beautiful quiet place – so meditative, so refreshing, so inspiring. I took a bunch of closeup pictures this time, since I worked mainly on flash and micro stories. Fitting!
I edited 5 flash stories, one short story, submitted 9 stories, and wrote 1 poem*. First poem since high school lol. Then it was time to say goodbye – every year I tap the big tree and tell it how much I appreciate it.
*I’m in a poetry challenge this month, hoping to write 5 more poems over the next 5 weeks.
